I know we on Free Republic act as though we originated this idea, but it’s kind of obvious and you KNOW the (R)s have at least considered it. But without the Internet chatter demonstrating that WE know this can be done, and would look unkindly upon any failure by the Repubs to use the approach, may have made it more likely that they would use it.
