If the "doctors" are fake there are criminal penalties for that sort of behavior.

If the "doctors" are real, it's possible there's no penalty at all ~ on the other hand if this were Florida you could nail the teachers for "doctor shopping" if prescriptions were involved.

Be interesting to see what the absentee teachers come up with eh!

If they’re handing out fake “sick” signed statements, I guarantee that’s a violation of law and/or ethics.

Signing a "doctors' note" is an act of medical practice. To do it without knowing the patient or doing any kind of examination is an ethical violation.
