Wisconsin tea party activists are now weighing in on the ongoing state worker protests, bussing in picketers to counter protest today and exploring measures to recall the Democratic senators that have fled to boycott the vote on Governor Scott Walker's budget bill.
Madison police have said that they expect approximately 100,000 people to fill the square outside the capitol building Saturday as tea party members' voices will be added to the chorus of dissent as the protests enter their fifth day.
The counter-rally, which was announced by the Virginia and Wisconsin-based conservative group American Majority, is dubbed the I Stand with Scott Walker Rally, and was organized by American Majority's Executive Director Matt Batzel.
"I think we're in for something special tomorrow," Batzel told WISC-TV in Madison. "We're expecting to have thousands of conservatives and tea party people representing the majority of Wisconsin who stand behind Gov. Walker on this bill."
Meanwhile, tea party members are forming two exploratory committees to recall two of the Wisconsin Democrats that fled the state on Thursday to protest the vote on the certain-to-pass bill, which will drastically cut state worker benefits and eliminate union bargaining rights.
Following today's protests, the tea party group Northwood Patriots will meet tomorrow to discuss the recall of Senator Jim Holperin, while a separate group in Kenosha, Wisconsin called the Robert Wirch Exploratory Committee is looking into recalling Senator Robert Wirch.
According to Madison's The Capital Times, a recall effort would require the exploratory committees to collect 15,000 to 20,000 petition signatures.

“There seems to be ALOT of union supporters there for such a small state.”
They are bused in from out of state.
They are also hiring people to protest.
The MSM doesn't want the country to know that the people of Wisconsin replaced a solid Democrat government with an even larger Republican majority.
Calls to remove Walker are coming from the losers of the mid-term election, and are a small voice relative to the millions who voted to oust the prior Democrat government.

Thank you Tea party counter protesters. Without you the American public would be getting 100%BS from MSM...now only 75%. It’s the difference for defeat.
I drove 140 miles roundtrip today. I went to a lot away from the city center to catch a shuttle bus...is that the bussing in of picketers he’s talking about? Purposely misleading as usual.
They are also hiring homeless people to protest.
So, did someone tell the Union thugs to make sure to keep their racist, ugly Hitler signs hidden from the camera?? Didn’t see any today, maybe I just missed them??? I can’t believe that many commies in one place and not one Hitler sign. On a side note, it appears that the police were anticipating violence from the Tea Party. It really hurts me that they are walking with the very people (progressives) who use every opportunity to throw them under the bus in favor of the victim, ahhh, I mean criminal.

More than 75%, sanjuanbob. We kicked their fascist/commie butts in the last election. We, the patriots, now completely control 26 states and elected more than 700 patriots to state legislatures.
We’re doing good, sanjuan.
Next election, we take 15 more states and elect 700 more patriots to the legislatures.
Smile, be happy and keep working to take our country back.
Semper fi, sanjuanbob.
