Hmmmm...isnt this fraud? Caught on camera no less.It is fraud, but it isn't unexpected. Union members often have access to a doctor that can get them a work excuse whenever they ask for one.
Bottom line is, any teacher that claims sickness but is shown on video to have been at the protest should be, at a minimum, docked for the pay for the days that they massed. And, if they fraudulently claim sickness with an excuse but were spotted at the protest, they should be fired for committing fraud.
People like that shouldn't be around children anyway - they don't understand the difference between right and wrong, and therefore cannot be expected to be able to teach children.

Yes it is. They may think they are getting off with the letter, but the paying employer could demand documentation of your appointment. This is not covered by HIPAA. I wonder if these are administrators in the Public Health Service.
