This week President Obama was roundly criticized, even by many of his allies, for submitting a federal budget that actually increases our already crushing deficit. But that didn't stop him Thursday from jumping into Wisconsin's titanic budget battle. He accused the new Republican governor, Scott Walker, of launching an "assault" on unions with his emergency legislation aimed at cutting the state budget.

I am not at all concerned with a guy who reaches less than 1% of Americans.
Your may be vigilant, but you need to work on reading comprehension. Acknowledging the good work of teachers is not siding with the union and putting a foot in each camp. Did you even bother to read her entire post? She wrote, “You don’t have to kowtow to the union bosses who are not looking out for you, but instead are using you.” She warned that the union bosses were only looking out for big government and their own power and control, and that the union bosses were willing to risk thousands of teachers and public sector workers losing jobs for the sake of that power. It is a great “common sense” post that may speak to some. Try reading it again, and this time read the whole post.
Yeah, I read it all. As in so many other cases, she has one foot firmly planted in both camps.
Your PDS is making you insane.
Ah, I see, in the new Palin universe, if we don’t make common cause with the unions, we’re insane. Interesting.
The article is a good one, it's hard not to notice he isn't interested in discussing it.
I would be willing to wager a princely sum that after those ‘strikers’ are fired that within a week there would be enough other teachers in place to begin school at full strengh.
Of course he/she didn’t read it. It’s about the BIG LIE. They are terrified by Palin. They are completely incapable of honest open debate about who she is, what she has done, and what she would do as president.
A Community Organizer is paid to foment resentment and class envy. That is how they gain power and influence. Think of them as simply a local version of Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. That is who Obama is. Obama is a more polished version of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson.
Well, no. It's your obsession that makes you insane.
Maybe a video documentary of all the lavish perks the union bosses will lose if the dues aren’t paid would help to convince all of us doubters how wrong we are not to support the unions?
Collecting the dues directly from the paychecks saves the unions a lot of money by not having to hire people to break thumbs to collect.

Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Luna's vehicle was vandalized overnight at his Nampa home and he and his family have received threats, he told police.
“Yes, he has made us aware of threats to him and family members and we are looking into those, and we are aware of those, and we are doing what we can to provide protection,” Nampa Police Deputy Chief Craig Kingsbury said.
On Saturday night, a man who identified himself as a teacher reportedly showed up at Luna's mother's home in Nampa in order to speak with her about the superintendent's contentious education reform plan. Luna happened to be at his mother's house at the time.

Maybe Mrs. Palin could beg her "brothers and sisters" to back off.
EV, there are a lot of good people who also happen to be in unions. Many of them hate it but have no choice. Those are the ones Palin is appealing to. There needs to also be a rebellion from within unions, and I believe that’s what she’s trying to foment.
I’ve toyed with that delusion myself in the past. Long in the past. I learned quickly that you can’t negotiate with these people. They play for keeps, and they don’t back off.
No matter what you may think about exceptions in the union ranks, the fact is that overwhelmingly they ARE the Democrat Party. They are the people who are destroying this free republic on every front.
Keyes’ foot is somewhere up his posterior, or in a pile of horse droppings.
Says the guy who supported Rudy Giuliani.
Rudy has won elective office, BTW. Keyes?
Hey, if winning past elections is your only criteria, you might as well support Obama.
