RP wants to bring home the Troops and mobilize our defenses here. We will not be successful in the Islamic Hellhole of the middle East. I think we need to mobilize our military to be unbeatable and protect the USA from without and within. The Gravy Train is over. Deal with it.

Yes, now that we’ve financed most of Israel’s enemies lets drawback and let them have at it. I’d prefer to die next to a Israeli than eat a hamburger next to you.

The military should be recalled from overseas and the foreign aid budget should be diverted to building a border fence and deporting the millions of invaders that are in this country.

Only when that task is done should we think again about what’s happening in these hellholes that no one cares about.

Ron Paul claims he wants to audit the Federal Reserve. He ought to read the audits that are already published.

“vitriolic and personal” ????

Calling Ron Paul on being a loon isn’t personal. He indulges Truthers and the Alex Jones crowd...David Horowitz was 100% correct, and brave to put a stop to the legitimization of this goof.

I can't get my head around this obsession some folks
have with Ron Paul. He is an isolationist nutcase who
would burn the country to the ground as long as it stayed
in budget. The rest of the planet doesn't seem to play
a role other than as eternal patsies for the”Jews”in his
view. No way would I waste a vote on him.

David Horowitz is not exactly a rightwing fundy himself, his criticism of Ron Paul seems to center on foreign aid to Israel.

What conservative did he attack? As far as I can tell, this article only mentions the Pauls.

CUT FOREIGN AID TO ISRAEL??

Get a load of this.
This is what should be cut.

.com/2009/05/13/obamas-supplemental-bill-passes-gives-billions-to-enemies/

• Pakistan: $1.9 billion, $591 million above the request

• Iraq: $968 million, $336 million above the request

• Oversight: $20 million, $13 million above th2009 Supplemental Appropriations for Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Pandemic Flu was revised and “passed by the full committee.”Obama’s Not sure what the next step is, but based on the summary, it gives billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to countries and entities that support Sharia law and/or harbor, hide and support those who want to destroy the U.S. and our allies.
hRead the summary
http://appropriations.house.gov/pdf/PressSummary05-07-09.pdf
http://creepingsharia.wordpress
from e request, to expand oversight capacity of the State Department, USAID, and the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan to review programs in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq

• Lebanon: $74 million

• International Food Assistance: $500 million, $200 million above the request, for PL 480 international food assistance to alleviate suffering during the global economic crisis

• Refugee Assistance: $343 million, $50 million above the request, …including humanitarian assistance for Gaza. Funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency programs in the West Bank and Gaza is limited to $119 million (Note: Gaza = Hamas)

• Disaster Assistance: $200 million to avert famines and provide life-saving assistance during natural disasters and for internally displaced people around the world, including Somalia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, the Middle East and South Asia

• Peacekeeping: $837 million for United Nations peacekeeping operations, including an expanded mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a new mission in Chad and the Central African Republic

• Department of Justice: $17 million, matching the request, for counter-terrorism activities and to provide training and assistance for the Iraqi criminal justice system

The mainstream media remains silent on this but the International News http://www.thenews.com.pk/top_story_detail.asp?Id=22164
has now picked up the story — and then there is Obama’s $108 billion IMF bailout scheme http://michellemalkin.com/2009/05/13/obamas-100-billion-imf-bailout-scheme/ in addition to the Supplemental.

Obama has asked Congress http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2009/04/27/obama-asks-congress-to-allow-us-funds-to-terrorist-hamas-govt/
to let aid to Palestinians continue if Hamas backers are included in a new unity government, observers say.

The proposed change in U.S. law would be necessary because Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, is designated as a terrorist organization and therefore cannot receive U.S. aid. But power-sharing negotiations between Hamas and the rival Fatah faction, which controls the West Bank, may result in a unity Palestinian government that includes ministers backed by Hamas, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The White House sought the change as part of a bill authorizing $840 million for the Palestinian Authority as well as for rebuilding Gaza after this year’s 22-day Israeli military assault.

The Hamas proposal brought criticism from U.S. lawmakers, the Times said — one of whom, U.S. Rep. Mark Steven Kirk, R-Ill., said the move was akin to supporting a government that “only has a few Nazis in it.”

We don’t have the capital to fund any nation. Boortz offered figures today on our deficit, claiming when broken down, each taxpayer owes about 1.7 million.

If his calculations are correct, I think we’re gonna need more taxpayers.

I don’t agree with some of the gambits suggested by this observer, but he is pretty good at analyzing the global chessboard, and therefore worth a close look.

http://www.amazon.com/Next-Decade-Where-Weve-Going/dp/0385532946/
The author of the acclaimed New York Times bestseller The Next 100 Years now focuses his geopolitical forecasting acumen on the next decade and the imminent events and challenges that will test America and the world, specifically addressing the skills that will be required by the decade’s leaders.

The next ten years will be a time of massive transition. The wars in the Islamic world will be subsiding, and terrorism will become something we learn to live with. China will be encountering its crisis. We will be moving from a time when financial crises dominate the world to a time when labor shortages will begin to dominate. The new century will be taking shape in the next decade.

In The Next Decade, George Friedman offers readers a provocative and endlessly fascinating prognosis for the immediate future. Using Machiavelli’s The Prince as a model, Friedman focuses on the world’s leaders—particularly the American president—and with his trusted geopolitical insight analyzes the complex chess game they will all have to play. The book also asks how to be a good president in a decade of extraordinary challenge, and puts the world’s leaders under a microscope to explain how they will arrive at the decisions they will make—and the consequences these actions will have for us all.
