NPR and NASCAR are next!
Come on EPA Next!
TT
Oh. Are you talking about using NASCAR to indoctrinate us on the wonders of Ethanol?
How about the National Endowment for the Arts next.
On a roll !!!!
Tax dollars don’t fund Nascar
Au contraire, amigo.....http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2011/02/pentagons-nascar-sponsorship-gets-a-green-light-congress-rejects-measure-to-cut-funding-for-ads-on-r.html
God is good!
So it appears that this congressperson doesn’t object to the military advertising for new recruits. She just objects to them advertising to a demographic who doesn’t like rats.
Nope, they’ve voted to keep NASCAR. They said it’s a big help for military recruitment.
At least they can’t use that same excuse to keep NPR.
The Army buys advertising on several cars. Its no different then buying TV commercials or road side bill boards.
Perhaps you think the Army shouldn’t be able to advertise in their recruiting efforts.
How about the other NEA??
Great; now the EPA. We have a lot of energy resources here in the US.
Send a quick note of thanks to Mike Pence!

They’re on my list as well. I’d go so far as to say we only fund those things listed in the Constitution, which if I remember correctly is the mail, the roads and the military.
Who were the Republicans who voted with PP on this?
Anyone that dumps ethanol into those tanks will not survive to tell about it.
LLS
No. The US Army is a major sponsor to NASCAR. Notice the ads? We pay for those. Like any NASCAR fan needs to be reminded about the US ARMY.
Unfortunately, this is just a paper victory. Obama will just shift the funding to another department. Blood money will still be paid to the doers of evil, don't you worry.
