Starting a Tea Party counter protest would be counter productive. The Democrats and the Unions are exposing themselves and turning off thousands of morons who vote Democrat because that's all they can spell. Let the Dems cut their own throats. Plenty of time to protest later after the damage is done. This is a freebee to the Tea Party.

The opportunity is ENORMOUS!!!!! But Im wagering a house, 2 darling children, an Eldorado, a firearms collection (including a really cool suppressed CZ75B), and a wonderful wife, that NOTHING is accomplished. NOTHING good is done, and NO GOOD BILLS are passed.I hereby officially accept your bet.
Please post a pic of the wife.
Love,
Laz

Wheres the tea party? Nowhere. I think it's good they not get involved right now. They might better stand back and watch the left hang itself. Now is not the time to jump in and save them with a "boogie man" to blame their problems on.

Articles that I read yesterday said the Tea Party was in the state capital. And they had pics. You have to understand that the press sides with the unions. They are NOT going to widely report opposition. AND people are being bussed in. The call went out from Organizing America, Obamas outfit.

If the Tea Party starts counter-protesting, the Leftist media will turn the whole shebang against them and before you know it, the national media will be blaming the Tea Party for all of this. Let the Dems hang themselves. Let the dust settle and THEN counter protest to show support for those who are cutting government and making positive changes. Don't let emotions ruin this wonderful Democrat train wreck!

I will consider it all Kabuki-theater posturing unless Repubs start passing stuff that make Dems scream.
They can start with seeing what Senate rules they would like to change (changing requires 2/3 vote OF THOSE PRESENT, but majority makes a quorum).

The American private sector had better wake up to the fact that the Left has made them little more than serfs to support the privileged government class! Free the Tax Slaves - Starve the Beast.
We can survive without big governments money, but it cannot survive without ours.

I think the REPUBS are the maggots who should be voted out. Why is not Wis. as of noon yesterday a right to carry state? Why isn’t the gavel falling every 10 mins. on another conservative fantasy law? Why? Are the Repubs really gonna let the Dems screw them and screw them hard, and NOT pick up the giant machine gun the dems have laid at their feet? Really?

Wheres the tea party?
Are you kidding? They are the ones that tracked the AWOL Rats down in that IL hotel. The media couldn't even find them. Sent them scattering like the Rats they are. I think if there is any chance for a vote today, it will be because of the TP scaring a couple of them back over the border to face the music.

"Wheres the tea party?"
Remember, the tea party consists of working America. The ones that can't take off on a moments notice because they have actual jobs they have to perform. Lets see what happens over the weekend. I'll bet the Wisconsin tea party will organize something for the weekend.

It's long past time to start screaming at Republican legislators to start passing anything that will make the Dem constituencies scream, rapid fire, until they return.

"I think the Repubs are posturing, and using the Dem absence as an excuse to not actually pass anything which will piss off the unions. The Assembly should be careful to word the bill as a non-appropriations item, and send it to the Senate." My guess is that this is EXACTLY what is happening if the WISGOP refuses to act.
The GOP better F'ing MAKE this happen or there WILL be HELL to pay. Count on it...

You are absolutely right. The Dem's and unions are not going to come out looking good on this one. Tea Partiers just sit back with some popcorn. Keep out of this one for now. There will be plenty of time to get involved if we want in Ohio, NJ, ....
What is amazing, is that every time Obama starts to get some momentum and look like he is moving to the middle (I know, just a show), he does something really stupid like weighing in on this issue on the union side. Worse, his political machine is being disclosed to be behind much of the organizing of this turnout. This guy is the gift that keeps on giving (except, of course, for him ruining our country).
