In the Middle East, being an American is high risk. Being an American woman in the Middle East is higher risk. Being an American, woman, in the Middle East, in the middle of a revolution? What would you call that?
These youngsters actually LOBBY for these assignments! They then arrive with no training for the foreign culture they are entering. She might have been killed, and by her countenance and yes, her dress, she didn’t seem to have a clue of personal danger.
I may be mistaken but I didn’t see any other female reporter with even an open collar, did anybody else?
This was the report from CBS......So, what do you suppose the intent of CBS was by using the phrase "sustained sexual assault"? For some reason, being grabbed and repeatedly kissed on the lips doesn't enter my mind as being a sexual assault.
