Yeah when the voter buys gas, grocery and sees his power bill.

Probably not. He's got the stupid-people vote, the selfish vote, the female vote, the Jewish vote, the government-dependent vote, the
abortion, abortion, uber alles vote, the I-want-"free"-health-care-vote, the college-kid vote, the illegal-alien vote, the black vote, the union vote, the facebook-addicted's vote, the twitter-twatters' vote, the white-guilt vote, and the print and broadcast media's undying, never-ending slavish love and devotion. We're pretty much doomed.
"The America of my time line is a laboratory example of what can happen to democracies, what has eventually happened to all perfect democracies throughout all histories. A perfect democracy, a warm body democracy in which every adult may vote and all votes count equally, has no internal feedback for self-correction. It depends solely on the wisdom and self-restraint of citizens
which is opposed by the folly and lack of self-restraint of other citizens. What is supposed to happen in a democracy is that each sovereign citizen will always vote in the public interest for the safety and welfare of all. But what does happen is that he votes his own self-interest as he sees it
which for the majority translates as Bread and Circuses.
Bread and Circuses is the cancer of democracy, the fatal disease for which there is no cure. Democracy often works beautifully at first. But once a state extends the franchise to every warm body, be he producer or parasite, that day marks the beginning of the end of the state. For when the plebs discover that they can vote themselves bread and circuses without limit and that the productive members of the body politic cannot stop them, they will do so, until the state bleeds to death, or in its weakened condition the state succumbs to an invaderthe barbarians enter Rome."

Oh, Bammy’s got the man-with-sperm-leaking-outa-the-rectum vote and the woman-with-female-fingerprints-on-my-cervix vote, too. And the lapsed/weak-Catholic-ethnic-East-European vote, along with the mainline/liberal Evangelical Protestant vote. All the groups I’ve listed pretty much deserve to be lead by an Affirmative Action lost-little-boy like Obama. so it’s just desserts, hayna? And pretty much a wrap...

So, in 2008, who was the Nixon and who was the Dole? I thought it was a McCain and and Palin, but I am just a simple soul from the country, so, I could be wrong.McCain = Dole. Sames turds, different punchbowl.

In 2008, the question was “can Hillary be beaten?”

Thanks neverdem.
Answer is, probably not.
Besides all the jackoffs -- claiming to be the only true conservatives -- who won't vote for the Republican nominee come November, there's also the fact that a bunch of ignorant racists who were 14 years old in 2008 will be eligible to vote in 2012 and still be racists. And have four years of the NEA agitprop specialists beating a drum for Obama, particularly throughout the month of February.
Also, many older voters still alive in 2008 won't be in 2012. A bunch of the Greatest Generation were conservatives who nevertheless grew up under FDR and always liked him, and voted for Truman, Stevenson, Kennedy, and Johnson will be in the no longer here category, but the so will a bunch of those who wouldn't be caught dead (so to speak) voting for a Demwit.
If you thought Obama's mistakes and malfeasance would convince some of his 2008 supporters that he doesn't deserve reelection, it's clear that you haven't bothered to talk to anyone you work with who was a rabid Zero supporter in 2008. To most of them, he still walks on water.
Add to all that the fact that the organization of his campaign will be even more machinelike, the corruptions and the partisan media shills even more brazen, and the minority party in Congress will be blamed for everything that fails to pass -- no matter how it busts the budget -- as well as blamed for everything that fails to be repealed.
C'mon, really, remember -- when the Demwits controlled both houses of Congress and the White House, the Pubbies couldn't stop shit and yet were blamed for obstruction and who knows what all.
Even on FR there were idiotic trolls blaming the Pubbies for not doing this and not doing that -- and those trolls are mostly still here.
Substitute Obama where needed below:
If Hiterily gets elected with enough votes in Congress, these will be the good old days. The purists, who will stay at home because our candidate couldn't walk on water without getting the soles of his Teva's wet will have gifted us with another Clintoon pillaging. -- Grampa Dave 1/18/2008
ditto:
Don't worry. As soon as Hillary or Hussein take over the reins of the US, thanks to anti-McCain conservatives, al Qaeda can start its renewal again. -- nwrep 2/09/2008
