Over the past few weeks I've been compiling various ping lists via requests on some of my Freep posts.
This is the first viewing offered.
It's sparse; I'm sure there's plenty more Freep ping lists out there. And it's not viewed by millions. But I will put the URL in my sig line when I post on FreeRepublic and I'm a frequent poster. I will also be designing a big banner on my sidebar for folks who read my regular Blog posts. Might get some attention.
There's instructions on the post how to add your ping list to this Blog but since you're reading this, just freepmail with a description of your ping list, a picture if you want one, and your Freepmail addy.

I don’t know if anyone wants to take over TC’s off-beat ping lists or not. If so, please let me know.
I *MIGHT* be able to retrieve them.
I thought someone already kept track of the ping lists. Unfortunately I can’t recall who.

This is agood source. However, it is from 2007 and does not include links to the ping list owners.
It DOES, however, have a very good sort by category list so it will be very helpful.
Got a lot of help just by this little thread, thanks to all.
cgk did the ping list listing but she has not been active.. just a couple posts the past couple years. I hope she is okay. She seemed to be a really nice gal & did a bang up job with the color coded charts. Awesome.
It is run by "Lucky9teen"
Do any FReepers know of any ping lists for Automotive/Car related topics? I would be interested in joining one.
FYI: cgk’s updated ping list from August 2008.

Here is the old master bump list....

This is from BEFORE the implementation of Keyword search...
so it’s very aged.

Weekly Cooking Thread pinglist: libertarian27
Redbadger does one I believe.
Love keywords ...but many posters seem to be unaware of it or just prefer not to use them...
I depend on them heavily.
Anything to help organize the flood of items on FreeRepublic is useful.
Sunkenciv keeps me well supplied with good reading material.
Me too!
I'll add the right key words to other people's posts to find them again
That's a great feature - that anyone can add those keywords to make it more searchable.
ping to 70
My all-time favorite keyword omissions are probably not using states’ names; same goes for the topics lists (but only in the “news” forum). It’s a better system than the way it used to be, but the limits (and duplication of effort) in the topics lists is pretty zany. In the “gop” forum, there are 50 more state topics, but without the preceding “US:” — and that makes no sense, obviously they should be merged.
[soapbox breaks]
It would be less time to ping topics that *don’t* show his malfeasance. ;’)
There is something to that :(
