Just like ron paul playing lip service to the Constitution while he wants to surrender to every threat our country faces.

He did everything he could while serving in the Air Force to undermine the war effort in Vietnam.

He has voted against every defense budget (including funding for improved healthcare for the military) since he came crawling back to congress, yet he claims to support the troops. He’s voted against funding for body armor, voted against funding the purchase of ammunition and other supplies such as food for the troops who are deployed.

We’ve got two words to describe someone like him.... “Blue Falcon”, and “Buddy” is only part of it.

And politicians are only part of the blame for jobs being shipped offshore. The rest lies with the corrupt and greedy unions such as the AFL-CIO who have made it too costly for companies to even operate here especially in the non-right to work states such as Michigan, California, New York, etc.

Why do these hacks that rule us (both Parties) continue to demonstrate a knack of supporting corrupt governments while getting us involved in multiple costly wars that for the most part have nothing to do with our national defense?

National defense is much more than using our military and waging war. It used to be said that the USA would face economic warfare. No one paid attention.

Our elected leaders had an obligation to defend the USA and its economy (just like our borders) , but instead they enriched international corporations and global bankers, who cared nothing about the USA, our sovereignty, and our Constitution? In truth they’d prefer we had no borders or Constitution to get in the way of competitive global strategies and boundless illegal immigrants.

Unions and regulations are irrelevant to the issue of outsourcing. Our economic decline was due to elected leaders who failed to defend the USA, and instead gave our economy to China and others along with creating a powerful military foe and a competitor for natural resources.

It was not the union’s job to give up their wages so that they could compete with Chinese slave labor at 10 cents an hour. It was Congress’s job to create a trade environment that would result in balanced trade that served the security of Americans and America long term. In my opinion these traitors in both Parties should be retroactively put on trial for high crimes and treason. If this was about getting the unions, then we (no they in Congress) cut our nose off to spite our face.

You may not be old enough to remember, but in 1960 we Americans were proud that our country was the most powerful manufacturing economy on Earth; many countries in the world were still financially indebted to the USA; and we touted our farms and food production as the bread basket to the world. Yet our corrupt leaders gave it all away. Was it due to incompetence or was it on purpose, because our elected officials no longer served the USA but instead those who profited on our decline?
