I figured Mitt would pay enough attendees to pull it out over Paul. If there has ever been a more worthless straw poll, I'd like to see it.

CPAC is a bit like a Star Trek convention. There are a lot of people who like the Star Trek TV shows and movies who would never check into a hotel for a weekend to attend a convention. Same thing with conservatives. Other than for think tanks and elected officials there really aren’t a lot of important things you can accomplish there. It’s mostly wonks and nerds and that more or less describes the Ron Paul crowd. So of course he’d come out on top in a convention poll, as would Mr. Spock.

Ron Paul...Romney, Gary Johnson, Chris Christie Wow. How impressive. A pro-choice for states libertarian blame-America-first isolationist. The most liberal Governor in the history of the republic. A pro-baby-killing libertarian, and a gun-grabber who preferred Mike Castle to Christine O'Donnell.

Who the hell is this Gary Johnson other than hes a kook? The pro-abortion, drug-legalizing libertarian from New Mexico, whom Ron Paul loves with a purple passion.
Ron Paul: [Pro-Abortion] Gary Johnson is best alternative for 2012
"...he sees former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson as "the best" alternative should he not run himself."
