Freedom from tyranny does not mean that you get to stand with your fingers in your ears and hum and trust naively that you will prevail. it is beyond naive to think there isn’t going to be a massive power struggle in Egypt now. Who is organized? secular democratic forces? name one. there aren’t any.”
Our country is one of the few that turned a sharp left...only it really didn’t did it? The nation elected what they thought would be a moderate and rejected the left’s push against our liberty. The people of Egypt have done something much more remarkable...they were not allowed free elections. They are overthrowing their tyranny, without violence, by sheer force of will. Something every freedom loving American should respect and appreciate.
