I’m struck at how reminiscent that attitude is of the throngs on the Mall for Obama’s inauguration; reveling in the election of our first black president all awash in hope and change, not remotely cognizant of the fact that he nor anyone in his administration could grip their butt with both hands. But gosh darnit it felt GOOD!

Didn’t feel good to me...scared the hell out of me. The peaceful revolution in Egypt is scary, but is it our ONLY chance at defeating terror, period. The liberation of the Middle East is crucial and the only chance at defeating terrorism and islamic fanaticism. No guarantees this will turn out well, but it is an opportunity for victory. I have been watching this on tv and see Egyptian flags, not communist, not muslim...change the flags and we could have a tea party going on...
