You're right. If these people had the sense to read up on 1978-79 Iran and look at Iran now, they might not feel quite so celebratory.
It looks to me that the current Egyptian Gov still has power and will not relinquish it.
Time will tell.
But we have all seen that Barry was first in line to support a repeat of the Iran scenario in Egypt.
