Trump's timing (U.S.A. needs tough businessmen)

In a brief chat with POLITICO, he again claimed he's "thinking about" a presidential run.

"We're going to announce in June one way or the other," he said.

Then he and his sizable entourage — which included a few stern-looking body guards — were on their way toward an escalator, followed by a growing crowd

[snip] "The United States has become whipping post for the rest of the world -- the world is treating us without respect," said Trump. "The United States is becoming the laughing stock of the world. Whether we like it or don't like it, that's what's happening. I deal with people from China, I deal with people from Mexico. They cannot believe what they're getting away with."

[snip] He got his loudest applause, though, for a shot at perrenial presidential candidate -- and CPAC star -- Ron Paul. "Ron Paul cannot get elected ... I like Ron Paul ... But he has zero chance of being elected," said Trump.

The Donald has a place in U.S. politics for sure, but not as President. Taking over and shaping up the USDA or even running Health Care once the ObamaCare is repealed.

I would give Thomas Sowell a “rotating” cabinet post along with Walter Williams.

Put Sowell in as Secretary of Energy...and let him gut the department. Then when he’s worked himself out of a job, send him over to HHS.

We go with a establishment candidate like Romney or Huckenfussy and you have the “Pasty white country club Republican” image to deal with and you are still struggling to reach 45% approval. You can go with back bencher like Pense or Thune but you can then spend 9 months fending off the hatchet job the MSM will do shaping his image. Trump would be unacceptable to the GOP establishment and the far right, think of the damage a teary eyed Marla Maples on TV with Steve Kroft on what a dog the guy is. Morality is only important when Republicans are involved, remember? I think the only play is Palin, she has the charisma, the intellect and well the cajones to stand there on the podium in a debate and call Blue Lips an abject faliure and socialist sock puppet for the Bildebergers and global enviro left.
