From the BBC:
-A huge crowd has gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square for Friday prayers and a mass demonstration against Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak.
-Mr Mubarak defied protesters on Thursday, vowing to hold on to power until presidential elections in September.
-His speech drew a strong response from US President Barack Obama, who said Egypt needed a "clear and unequivocal" transition of power.
Such a beautiful thought and perfect point to make.

“The two primary targets for nuclear attack on the west coast are San Diego and Bremerton, Washington. This is because they are the only two deep water friendly ports in the Pacific that can provide a full range of services to our carrier fleets.
So, for example, if China wanted to invade Taiwan, it would first need to disable these two ports and a large percentage of the US Pacific fleet. Then they would launch a flotilla of ships to take as many soldiers to Taiwan as fast as possible, before the arrival of the US Atlantic fleet, because once they were in Taiwan, they would be impossible to dislodge by the US without massive numbers of civilian casualties. The Taiwanese would be on their own.
Granted Chinese casualties would be staggering in such an invasion, as high as 90% of their landing force, but that would be typical for such an effort.
The US is aware of this possibility, however, and has a major exclusion perimeter from our west coast, several hundred miles, in case the Chinese, or a rogue state, attempted to launch missiles from a ship platform.
The only other typical attempt would be to smuggle in nuclear weapons in a shipping container. And it would be extremely hard to disguise a radioactive signature that size.”
The country-to-country protests continue right on schedule:

Note to all, the list of protest dates as published on net is somewhere on this thread, but I don’t remember where.
Also note in the above link post #2. Can these be a true sentiment?
Thanks for the ping!

Another promising farm method is drip irrigation. Uses a lot less water and can be carried far from a water source (like the Nile) using pipes. As much of Egypt is dry desert beyond the bluffs of the Nile gorge, perhaps there could be pumping stations to carry water up there for truck gardening. I don’t see bulk crops as so feasible.
Here is AOL News latest fee about the big cleanup in Egypt. There are 500 photos:
Here’s another piece on Iran in the Red Sea. Lot’s of posturing and testing the proverbial waters- but still is alarming if you’re in Saudi or Jordan and you have to ask WTH are they DOING?

The current regime engages in a lot of bluster, but putting warships in the Red Sea port of Americas long-time partner Saudi Arabia is genuine action. For no navy on earth not even ours is a naval deployment undertaken easily or lightly. This is a big deal for them. Its also a big deal for Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have been alarmed about revolutionary Irans activities for a long time; the chill between the two nations has meant precisely that things like naval port visits dont happen. The Saudis wouldnt have accepted this visit if they didnt perceive their US-backed position as vulnerable and exposed.

Will the Egyptian Military open the border to Gaza and its Hamas Terrorist Government? That will show the Military’s leanings.

Yup, He’s probably celebrating over a martini and an electric cigarette right now.
It’s amazing how this has become a technology mob. This region needs reform, but not this way. (Heck, look at what ‘reform/change’ is doing to this country!_ These leaders know it is all being organized via technology and are trying to cut the head off the snake. But, there are too many ways around it. Although it may slow things down, it will only create more determination among the youth.
ROLF! Pretty good.
