Guess Who's Coming to CPAC? (Breitbart & Norquist Gush Over GOProud in Homosexual Publication)

...Calling this "a maturing point for the conservative movement," Breitbart minces no words: "If being conservative means rejecting gay conservatives because they are gay, then fine, I'm not a conservative."

..."No, we're not giving cover to bigots," he [Chris Barron of GOProud] argues. "What we're doing is separating the people who don't agree with the left-wing agenda from the real bigots. You can be against ENDA and hate crimes and federal safe schools legislation and not be a bigot. If you're Tony Perkins, you're a bigot. You're against all of that stuff not because of any federalist reasons, but actually because you're just a nasty, anti-gay bigot."

..."There are socially conservative groups who are a part of CPAC. You have the pro-life groups, you have education – school choice groups, all kinds of Second Amendment groups," he [Jimmy LaSalvia of GOProud] says. "Lots of social conservatives are represented at CPAC."

"And we're at CPAC. It's still the preeminent conference of conservatives in the country. The groups who aren't there are the anti-gay groups. That's it."

...Going to the substance of what he says is the primary reason for his support of GOProud, Breitbart says, "I believe, to the core of my being, that what I'm doing is supported by the vast majority of the people who consider themselves conservatives in this country."

...Barron looks at the landscape: "We've said all along that we don't think that the conservative movement is unwelcoming to gay people. There is a fringe element. A really nasty, anti-gay, bigoted element. And we have smoked them out, and we have marginalized them."

Fair call. I wish people were less tribal. Tribalism is for Democrats. Why is there a C in CPAC? Seems like George Washington would’ve be banned too.

"My point is conservative ideals are much larger than just whatever we call the coupling of homosexuals. If they support limited government, lower taxes, American exceptionalism, a strong national defense, and are law abiding, what they do in private can’t be controlled. They are going to do it anyway."

This isn't about what GOProud members do in private, and never has been. The very claim is disingenuous. This is about GOProud, by their own admission, trying to purge the GOP of social conservatives.

We have the most inept clown EVER running the country. He is in the process of DECEIVING the “sheeple” in to believing he is moving to the middle from the extreme far-left. Even Charles Krauthammer acknowledges this ruse predicting an immediate return to the left fringe if Obama is re-elected.

If the GOP, GOProud, social conservatives, fiscal conservatives, and any/every other conservative group can’t come together with the common goal of defeating Obama in the next election, then we will deserve the liberal/socialist/statist hell hole this country will continue to become under his leadership.

We are ONE Supreme Court Justice(Scalia, Alito, Roberts, Thomas, Kennedy) away from an extreme leftist, America destroying, majority on the SC. Can’t WE all come together to make sure that doesn’t happen? I am starting to doubt it. The “purity” and “litmus” test mentality that dominates what makes up the GOP is disheartening.

Amen about Breitbart. Looks like the conspirators are trying to split the social conservatives. I think they are still holding on to the pro-life people because they have pacs that give a lot of money to pro-life candidates. If they didn’t have that money and organization Breitbart and Norquist would throw them under the bus.

It looks like the pro-lifers and the NRA owe CPAC favors from years gone by. It looks to me like CPAC is doing a “rope-a-dope” on the pro-life and gun people by suddenly adding the Muslims, gays and libertarians, their heads must be spinning. CPAC is not a friend to the pro-life and gun groups, they have been using them all along. Isn’t this what has been wrong with politics for so long? What we have not been aware was going on for many years? Now people are seeing what is behind the faux “conservative” label. How many other wolves in sheeps clothing are there out there? It always comes down to who is for the elite insiders and who is for the people. These frauds have been talking the talk for years but they had their own selfish secret agendas. Let them all be exposed so that they can be brought down from their places of power.
