CNN ^ | February 9th, 2011

To alleviate U.S. pressure on the Egyptian army, Saudi Arabia would consider matching the estimated $1.5 billion the United States provides Egypt in military aid each year if Washington decides to cut its aid to the troubled North African nation, an Arab diplomat says.

Shows you how concerned they are about the MB. Not sure spreading wahabism there is much better, though.

Oh please. This is a setup - i do not believe in coincidence.

Hussein bowed to his king, and even though hussein is running the show here, I’m sure he is counting on his muslim brothers to pick up the slack

...also, it looks like the Saudis will act in our country’s best interests, even if our PRESIDENT chooses not to.

The Saudis view the Muslim Brotherhood as a mortal threat to the Kingdom. They will do all in their power to thwart the MB’s rise in Egypt.

They realize that the MB and its spawn would take over that country and use it as a base to topple not only Israel, but the House of Saud as well.

If Obama is naive enough to withdraw aid to the Egyptian military, it is in Saudi’s interest to replace it.

I don't think I'm being merely snide when I say that he is both malicious and incompetent; and that his malice is fortunately limited by his incompetence, but his incompetence is unfortunately amplified by his malice.

So its kind of a lose-lose for us.

Its pretty bad when the Saudis have to intervene to protect us from ourselves. And the O turns out to be too crazy even for Riyadh.

Obama is a failure on this. He has not applied the same policies to Iran and Honduras. In Honduras he claimed an elected official needs to serve out their term.

The Republican nominee in 2012 will have a field day with this.

I can't wait for the debates.

Lookie here!

Saudi Arabia has outmaneuvered the Boy President seven ways to Sunday.

Sheesh, what an AMATEUR. For the whole world to see!!

EVEN *I* would have more or less mastered a job after two years in it, no matter how different nor difficult.

This guy is a classic piece of work. A classic piece of S is more like it.

Sheesh.

For the past umpty-ump years the Egyptians have bought American made weapons with the $$$ Uncle Sam gives them each year. The Egyptian military loves us....and their U.S. weapon systems.

So Obama cuts the aid in half - and now they have Saudi money to buy.....maybe Russian, Chinese, Cech or French arms.

We lose our appeal to the Egyptian Military, we may lose Egypt.

Obama has the strategiery of a fruit fly.

O’REilly had this stupid SOB there to ask the tough questions. Instead it was a photo op to get Obama “to like him.”

I listened to his explanation regarding Fox News etc.

The interview was pathetic. Another soft ball question and answer session.

I am sure he had the questions given to him before hand.

Russert might have given Obama the interview everyone has been waiting for, but O’Reilly didn’t.

The Egyptian crisis is case in point.

Worst president in my lifetime by far.

I’m sure that if the Saudi’s don’t step up, Israel behind the scenes will.

Not supporting Mubarek is Carter revisted with the Shah.

Only Mubarek is smarter...
