I wouldn’t call it demeaning. I think I’d use the term Assault and Battery.

Ms. Jackson-Lee is correct about the commercial not being the least bit funny, though.

All I’ll say is that most good comedy is based partially on the truth, so I wonder if Ms. Jackson-Lee is projecting a bit?

The commercial got a little dicey bc they sneak away and leave the unconscious woman there. Also, usually they don’t have you throw the product away like that, they usually dramatize that you can’t part with it.

I thought the violent quotient was a bit high, knocking an anonymous young woman out w a soda can, imho.
