Her family also has been dealing with a brother, Blair Westbrook, who suffered severe brain injury last summer in a motorcycle accident.
Brian Wolff, a close friend, said he spoke Sunday with Turton about how her brothers therapy was being cut off. I was telling her we should set up a foundation, said Wolff, a senior vice president at the Edison Electric Institute and a former top political House Democratic adviser to Pelosi.

Side point about her brother:
Only a lib with a high six figure income, would think that someone else should pay for her own brother’s medical needs that are “being cut off.”

.........."Based on evidence at the scene, D.C. Fire Department spokesman Pete Piringer said investigators' "leading theory" is that Turton was trying to maneuver her BMW SUV out of her garage at 5 a.m. and around a car in the driveway when she apparently came into contact with some kind of flammable chemicals or other explosive materials. A workbench was located near the garage opening, he said.
Were waiting for lab results, said Piringer. Its possible it was related to something mechanical, some kind of malfunction or it may be that she hit something in the garage, or something like a tricycle got stuck underneath the car. He said Turtons air bag did not deploy, indicating that if she did hit something, it was done at low speed. Piringer said that it was only once the fire was out and heavy smoke dissipated that responders could see that there was a body inside the car. "............

I think the family has money. My point being only the rich would think of setting up a foundation instead of looking to Medicaid, the new health care standard of obama-no-care.
IOW, the best health care money can buy.
