The tyrant in the WH and his comrades don’t care about the law and will do whatever they want, all this does is handcuff the good guys.

The good guys are already handcuffed by the tyrant in the White House and his comrades. All the Patriot Act does is give the tyrant in the WH legal cover to attack his political opposition.

Banning all Islamic immgiration and sealing the borders would do more for national security in one month than the Patroit Act would do in a thousand.

It is absured to discuss the need to spy on all Americans to ensure national security while legally importing 100,000 Muslims a year.

FYI — the House Rules Committee met Wednesday in an emergency session. The voted 7 to 2 to pass the Patriot Act extension under a closed rule. meaning no amendments or points of order. They allowed for one hour of debate total, and scheduled the vote for today, Thursday, where it will need only a simple majority, which it obviously has. It will pass and go to the Senate or the President today.
