Why should these bozos worry about what is in the Egyptian Constitution?

They don't worry about what is in ours!

Their Constitution evidently states that: all laws passed must be signed into law by Mubarak... if he steped down immediately, then they could not hold an election until Sept. because a law would have to be signed by Mubarak to that effect. Further, none of the demanded reforms could be enacted until a new President was elected and the Constitution changed.

“What Mubarak Must Do Before He Resigns”

This is very interesting and has a good summary of what may be necessary.

BTTT +++++++

“13.This administration is full of a bunch of children.”

Just about the best evaluation I have seen, however, it needs one change:

“13.This administration is full of a bunch of [incompetent] children.”

I am no expert on the Egyptian constitution,never gave it a moment’s thought, really, so now I am trying to play catch-up — as I understand the constitution, if the president were to resign, he would be succeeded by the speaker of the house.

Close, but no cigar. Speaker of the Peoples' Assembly.

Looks like the MB went from 88 seats to only 1 in the 2010 election. Interesting, eh?
