Many years ago in San Diego I went to see "This Is Spinal Tap" one afternoon. Several rows ahead of me was Judas Priest. They had just performed at the Sports Arena the night before. Halford was wearing these teeny, tiny shorts that were so....well, gay.

I went up to them and asked them what they thought of the movie and they said they enjoyed it and thought it was a pretty accurate depiction of a heavy metal band.

They were nice and signed a few autographs after the movie.

Yes, I imagine they were polite. I do not dislike homosexuals. However, my point was that when they “come out of the closet” after years and years of music, their music doesn't send the message I imagined if it relates to male, female relationships. For example Melissa Etheridge’s song, “Come To My Window” and songs by Johnny Mathis do not give me a warm fuzzy feeling anymore.
