Fence climbing by Bill avoids the topic of training unemployed American workers for "high tech" jobs. In these tough economic times, it would see Bill could find LOTS and LOTS of unemployed American workers to fill those jobs. Part of the "management" problem is they don't want to expend any time "training" skilled Americans for that work or paying them living wages.

You don't just take a dude with no skills off the street and train him to write code. If these dudes had any of the 'skills' you mention, they wouldn't be unemployed.

I never said "some dude off the street would qualify for these jobs." I've talked to some highly skilled programmers who wouldn't agree with you. Like I said before employers want specific code language skills and are unwilling to train those (who are already programmers) who could easily learn and are already here and desperate for jobs.
