Let me be a little clearer.
I formed my opinion of Title IX based on the judicial rulings in the state where I became aware - NY. That colors my judgment. Therefore, when I say Title IX is a problem to me, I am basing it on the legal judgment in force where I grew up.
Sarah Palin’s view of that law will, similarly, be colored by the views in force as she became politically aware, as well as those which were in force when she was in political power.
Arguing over pissant’s motivations is bullcrap. That’s liberal castrati speak for “we can’t argue your logic, so we’ll attack the messenger”.
Neither you nor pissant are likely to sway the other. Therefore, you are arguing to inform other people that view these threads. Attacking his motivation is a very, very weak argument. Your use of Palin’s words is a much more powerful argument. Use it.
Lastly, my request of you and pissant is to allow the potential candidates to define whether they are allies or foes, politically. Unless your name is Sarah Palin, or you are a paid spokesman for her, you do not have the right toi speak for her. Just the same as pissant doesn’t speak for Michelle Bachmann.
Let’s TRY to start this political season promoting the POSITITIONS we support, and then solidify behind the politicians that agree with those positions, rather than letting the dems and media (what’s the difference) split us before we start by sowing discord.
I will continue to support Sarah's candidacy until she says NO. I am sure of her role to lead us out of the mire!
