If Mubarak were 42 they may have a point. However, he is 82 and there is only so much longer we can ride an old horse.
However, the US should have long ago found a new horse to ride in Egypt instead of ignoring the face that Mubarak was aging.

Finding a new horse is only possible if he serves at our pleasure. He doesn't - and most foreign leaders don't.
