BOY I haven’t seen Tokyo panic since my fav Japanese resident nail them LOL!
UpfrontNews Upfront News
CNBC: Unrest in Egypt is roiling markets around the globe. Asian stock markets opened lower, with Japan’s Nikkei down nearly 1.5 percent.

Even better homemade! The only way to go!
Green chili burros is one of the few recipes I learned from my grandmother. (her way)
Many years ago when they were still with us both of them became ill & I went & stayed with them for a while to help out.
I cherish that time now that they are gone & so glad to have had the opportunity.
Now...where did Nana go? I do hope all is well!

Good evening, HJ...((HUGS))...a good weekend so far?
How are the plants in your office growing? (You did get them there, right?)

She came back up to help the FlyBoy - he has bronchitis and is not feeling well at all.
But, he’s not contagious, so he’s still working both jobs. He’s stubborn, like his Dad.

The plants have come home. I moved to a new office without windows and poor growing conditions.
I think they’re headed for a yard sale. We need to thin out the jungle here at the house!!

Aloha Jinxy!
Thanks for the posting of the video on 'Old 666'. 17 to 1 is pretty shaky odds to survive, especially for 45 minutes.
The 'Old 666" triumphed and the Zeros went bingo.....remarkable!

A tribute to the skill of the aircrew and the ability of the B-17 to soak up punishment...

Good evening, momtothree....StarCMC really did a great job bringing us the story of Lt Col Zeamer...another hero.
19 is the current temp...I would be happy if it just stayed there for the rest of the winter.
Hope you’ve had a good weekend.

True but that B-17 was armed to the teeth. Scored two kills early on and made the rest have second thoughts.
That the attack went on for 45 minutes floored me. When I was flying, an attack lasted much less time, a minute or two.....but we were early warning and could see it coming several minutes ahead. Thank the Lord and the Navy/Marines for BARCAP and MIGCAP.....and redundant systems, if you get my drift.
The only weapons we had were some .45s, a couple .38s and an old Iver Johnson .32 caliber revolver, none of which has ever been tested in combat against a FISHBED F.
