That’s a LOT of travel and gigs!!!! You SHOULD write a book if for no other reason as a diary like you said. I’m sure you have some stories!!

You know, the fun part is every so often one of the "boys" will come for a visit and we sit around and recall all the crazy things that happened that were horrible at the time, but funny in hindsight. Like the night I held Charles Waller (Country Gentlemen) on his chair the better part of the night while he chug-a-lugged Wolf's Head from the bottle. Finally, he was so wasted that Doyle Lawson picked him up and carried him to their bus. A thunder storm came through and knocked out the power, so Doyle, hubby and I sat by lamplight and spun road stories the rest of the night. Poor Charlie is gone, but I can still see him throwing back his head and howling before taking a gulp of that Wolf Head. That's why he died young.
