Yep. My mother and grandmother both made good turtle soup. Mostly snapping turtle. It is good.
I guess it's a "lost art" anymore.
Kinda like cookin' possum. Ya have to know how to do that right too.
Of course, down here in Texas we eat Armadillos too.
