This won't be encouraging news to Israel. An open border between Gaza and Egypt providing unabated and uninspected traffic, is bad, bad news - for both Egypt and Israel.

There is going to be one hell of a war and we will be up to our necks in it. King Obama is a fool and has hurt American power in the region. Israel will be attacked once Egypt falls.

Look for Israel to do to that border just as they did in regards to the West Bank, put up a massive security wall.

No surprise. Why should Hamas let a good crisis go to waste, eh Rahm??

Welcome back to the 7th century, Egypt!

Captain Obvious strikes again with lightning speed and “enlightened” analysis. Why does anyone pay any attention to what stratfor recycles as “exclusive”? It’s ridiculous!

AMB. JOHN BOLTON
Fox News ^ | 28 January 2011 | John Bolton (Interview)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2664992/posts
“...I think after the Friday prayers the Brotherhood brought its people out. That’s why the protests are even more extensive today. That constitutes no doubt about it a direct threat to the military government, and I think the failure of the other security forces to bring the demonstrations under control also now explains the presence of the military.

Let me be clear here, this is not just the Mubarak-family government. The military has ruled Egypt since Gamal Nasser and they over through King Farook.

It’s the military that is the real government and they are not going to go peacefully.

I think the question is whether and to what extent the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islamists have infiltrated the leadership.

If the military holds firm it’s entirely possible, although bloody, that the government can hold onto power. That doesn’t necessarily mean Mubarak will be in power, but the military will be, and I think that is why this contrast makes it so important for people to understand, this is not a choice between the Mubarak government on one hand, and sweetness and light, Jeffersonian democracy on the other.

Security forces in plainclothes are engaged in destroying public property in order to give the impression that many protesters represent a public menace.

SEIU 101.

Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.

Hamas, which formed in Gaza as an outgrowth of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood (MB), has an interest in exaggerating its role and coordination with the MB in this crisis

Car bombings to follow. Happy times. Happy times.

It has been an open border for many years. That is where all of the missles that hamas has come from. The only difference is that now hamas can openly go into Egypt...

Israel should consider moving in and sealing the boarder between Gaza and Egypt.
