I made mention of Iraq's current status a little earlier here.
Didnt I read, somewhere, recently, that Sadr had returned to Iraq??
Yes, I believe the detestable little greaseball is in Najaf these days.
After many months of relative calm, we could pretty much pinpoint Sadr's return by the re-appearance of mortars and rockets coming in on our bases.
I spent some of Christmas evening making jokes in a bunker to calm the uninitiated as the bombs fell nearby. As is the case about 98% of the time, nobody was hurt. We have better stuff than they do.
For now, anyway.
God bless you Allegra! I hope they get you out of there soon, under the current “Rules of Disengagement”, there is not much you can do to win against this evil.
Combat by the Old Rules was difficult enough. I cannot imagine how you can do it under this Coward in Chief! And in command to boot!
Check out this hot tip about Sadr.
