Did you notice the gun and dollar signs in the “Made in the USA” part?
The closest place is the scattered few left to fend for themselves in Iraq.
But even more alarming is, the fact that Iran will soon announce that they have a Nuclear Weapon and a Delivery system. The have probably gone to North Korea for the Delivery system. All they need is a 1,500 mile range.
It won’t be long before all those neighbors close to Israel, get on board with Iran, or become a smoking hole in the desert along with Israel.
That’s just it. This is no conspiracy. It’s as plain to see as Obama’s ears!
I think Bolton is wrong with the possible exception of Lebanon where the Iranian influence and support for Hezbollah could potentially tip that country toward a Mullah dictatorship. But it is not likely to happen, IMHO, as a revolt of the people of Lebanon. There is just no comparison between what is going on in Cairo with the current situation in Beirut.
Syria falling to an Islamic Revolution? Give me a break. We will see demonstrations in Iran long before they show up in Damascus.
I did. That banner was huge & perfectly positioned for the cameras.
Commentator said these 5 rallies were organized on Facebook. I wonder who is behind them? Eqyptian-American faces on the cameras, but is that who organized them?
I see your point(s)... I have to remove myself for a while. This situation is going too far out of hand...I should have known ... Out to my padded room, all.
First, reports of Police joining in to the looting, and now this....

Egyptian Army Joining Protests
World Threats/Ha’aretz ^ | 1/29/11

There is now word that elements of the Egyptian army are joining the protesters on the streets of Cairo. This report comes from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which says that members of the armed forces are taking off their helmets and joining in the protests.
The military officers removed their helmets as they were hoisted up by the crowd in ecstasy. The masses gathered at the square singing, praying and chanting that they will not cease their protest until Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak resigns.
If this starts with the overall military, it is the end of the Mubarak regime. The army locked down Tahrir (Liberation) Square in Cairo, which was the center of earlier protests. Now there are reports that Tahrir Square is mobbed by ten thousand rioters.
It is quite evident that the younger generations are Liberal and want to follow the rest of the World, but the Mullahs in charge see things differently. All they need to do is cut off their Internet/Cell Phones, and they will be back in the 12th century over night.
There was a clip of one the military yelling out - asking for the people to go home at night so they could fight the thugs after curfew, and they would remove their uniforms and protest with them during the day.
(Don’t think it was going to work, but it appears that they are with the protest)
Nay, nay 'tis no so. A modern era leader amount the Brothers but the Brothers were founded in 1928. Few who were men of 1928 still breath enough to move a line of ink to paper.
It was a year after the Hebron Massacre. Walt Disney released the short film starring Mickey Mouse titled Steamboat Willie. Haile Selassie became King, Chiang Kai-shek became Generalissimo, and Herbert Hoover became President.
1951. That was the year Al Zawahiri was born in Cairo to a prosperous and professional family, his father a Professor of Chemistry. Born June 19th. In the US Hank Ketchum's Dennis The Menace comic strip had started running three months prior and one month later King Abdullah I of Jordan was assassinated by a Palestinian as the King attended Friday prayers in what was then Jerusalem, Jordan. The assassination was planned by associates of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husayni. 1951 was also the year that Chinese communist forces captured Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, and Seoul, Korea.
Al Zawahiri joined the Brotherhood at the young age of 14. 1965. That was the year LBJ became President, that the US entered Viet Nam in any significant force, that Churchill died and Malcolm X was assassinated. Martin Luther King marched in Selma, and the Sound of Music opened on Broadway. The Pakistanis invaded Kashmir, India and Red China increased it's troop along the border with India. There was a coup in Tunisia, Koufax pitched a no-hitter, and the government of Indonesia started rounding up and executing communists.
This confirms Egyptian citizen on CNN claiming that the demonstrators consider the army to be on their side. He said that on average, every Egyptian family has a member in the Army.
” Nay, nay ‘tis no so. A modern era leader amount the Brothers but the Brothers were founded in 1928. “
Thank you for the historical correction....
The Egyptian Association for Change is one possibility but I have no way of knowing if they supplied the sign. Here is their website, which shows their protest schedule, with links to their Facebook pages. http://eacusa.org/
And 1965 was the year I joined the navy and went aboard my first ship to Vietnam. Came back to San Diego for “A” school in 1966 and the Sound Of Music was playing at the theater on Rosecrans Blvd. The Sound of Music was still playing the following year as I departed for Vietnam on my second ship. And still playing when we returned.
Destroying mummies smacks of Islam.
Yes, but back then the Muslim/Islamic Religion was only a quarter of the size it is today. More importantly, the Military powers of that time would have turned a rogue nation like Iran or North Korea into a solar panel.
The rest of the World has now become weak (Especially the USA) and Islam sees this as their big opportunity. You can fall back on those old bias’ all you like. But the modern reality says something quite different.
