Director of intel Omar Suleiman as VP
Yes, corrected. So interesting seeing the upheaval now across the ME. How far all this will go does remain to be seen...but Egypt has to act fast now. Who knows how much the other countries are protesting because of Egypt and support of, or rebelling against their own leadership. Likely both.
VICE is key ;)

CAIRO (Reuters) Looters broke into the Egyptian Museum during anti-government protests late Friday and destroyed two Pharaonic mummies, Egypt’s top archaeologist told state television.
The museum in central Cairo, which has the world’s biggest collection of Pharaonic antiquities, is adjacent to the headquarters of the ruling National Democratic Party that protesters had earlier set ablaze. Flames were seen still pouring out of the party headquarters early Saturday.
“I felt deeply sorry today when I came this morning to the Egyptian Museum and found that some had tried to raid the museum by force last night,” Zahi Hawass, chairman of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said Saturday.
“Egyptian citizens tried to prevent them and were joined by the tourism police, but some (looters) managed to enter from above and they destroyed two of the mummies,” he said.
He added looters had also ransacked the ticket office.
The question is will this appoinment satisfy....I don’t think so from what Fox is reporting..he’s too close apparently to Mabarac...so it’s being said.

The fact that thus far there is no anti-american stuff going on is telling. Always in the past there’s muchof that happening when M.Easterners protest. As for Israel others, like Hamas and Hesbollah will use this to position themselves on the borders etc.
I have been preaching to get our people (civilians and nonessentials) out of the entire ME since yesterday. Well I did just update to civilians and nonessentials. Your report has me shaking my head. dang....
1538 Sharif Kouddous of Democracy Now! tweets: “Muslim Brotherhood chanting Allah Akbar. Crowd stopped them chanting louder: Muslim, Christian, we’re all Egyptian #Egypt”
That’s awesome if true!
Did George H.W. Bush get to be VP of Egypt too? ;-)
One must consider that source as well...not exactly solid in their reporting either. They just dance to a different piper.
Do you have another version of this reply? One that is less of a non sequitur?
Nobody's trying to get Mubarak killed. (Certainly not the .. unicorns?)
He's got a private jet, and had a 30 year run as an autocrat. We've shoveled billions of dollars a year at him for decades. He's 84. His reign is ending soon anyway. Nature will see to that. He'll be fine enjoying his last golden years on the south of France.
It’s pretty cool, isn’t it?
It may well be a preview of the coming internal Egyptian struggle- a country ruled with an iron fist for nearly 30 years is going to be vulnerable to some really bad guys who will want to refashion that iron fist into their own.

More coverage...mostly anti-American, anti-Israel.
Agitating for MB, lots of Islamist, leftwing, commie guests from ME, US and Europe.
You got to hand it to these people, THEY know how to riot. I grew up in LA, and was there to watch thousands of “outraged” citizens demand “Justice” in the form of free shoes, TV Sets, DVD players, etc....
But dang it, can you imagine the gratification of you could pull off a looting run and coming back with a freakin MUMMY! or maybe a TUT Mask! Now THATS some lootin that puts New Orleans residents to shame. Heck, if I was there and thought I had a chance at one of those 4000 year old dog head statue things, I might be out there.
Seriously, though, this seems like the Shah of Iran all over again. Mubarak is a creep to be sure, but better the devil we know than the islamic fanatic devils we dont know.
Pretty telling that thus far nothing...this really isn’t about the US...one way or another though some will try to make it so. That’s not to say the US isn’t having behind the scene influence...but limited at best.
Or females like Mubarak because they’re aware of the alternative. j/k. Yes, I noticed this as well and thanked God I was not born in the ME.
OK. I did. And your point is??
Unfortunately, we sit and observe the brilliant minds leading this country in an ever-downward spiral.
