This has the same feel as Jimmy Carter in Iran. An Islamist Egypt, which is all Muslims are capable of if you give them actual democracy, changes everything in the Middle East. Egypt has been one of the few sources of stability in that part of the world for a long time. Nuclear war just came one big step closer because Islamists will eventually control the border between Egypt and Gaza and Israel will be facing a two front war and two front terrorism. Remember the “concerned scientists” in the 80’s with their stupid doomsday clock set at 11:59 ‘til doomsday? Where are they now?
