Hmmm. . . I think I see evidence that Gov. Palin has taken to reading the British press. "Spot on" is an anglicism when used in American English.
I note bemusedly that The Telegraph has instituted a regular 'Sarah Palin Watch' column in response to Milbank of the WaPo's call to the American media to boycott coverage of the governor.
