So do oranges come from Orange County California, Orange County Florida, Orange County New Jersey?
Why no Lemon Counties, Grapefruit Counties, Nectarine Counties, etc?
Etc?
I thought the article was going to tell where these plants originated, who modified them and when, how they migrated/spread to current locations.
For example are citrus fruits native to Israel, California, China, Mexico etc?
To: truth_seeker
They are native to SE Asia.
You left out Orange County New York.......

“So do oranges come from Orange County, California,...”
Not any more, the remaining orange groves were cut down at least twenty years ago.

Orange County, NY is named after William of Orange, King William III of England (husband of Queen Mary Stuart of England).
