The part of Obama’s speech that I did watch, I didn’t think was good, but then I don’t like his speaking style. I think that without fail, Obama always comes off condescending and arrogant. Just can’t stand the guy, so my biased opinion doesn’t amount to much.
Krauthammer and Brit aren’t singing him any praises either. Juan was singin’ his praises as usual, but Kirstin was not giddy. Too me, that says that it was mediocre at best.

It was a dumbed down speech. All over the map. I felt like he was lying to me.
Ryan came on and it felt fresh — like someone was talking straight for a change.
Bachman was fine. She brought in more of the hard truth — hard stuff for many to hear. (and I hated her makeup). But definitely more leveling with the American people.
No one liked the guy. He’s out of touch with the American people. He proposed new spending and new programs at a time when millions of Americans are out of work? This failed approach to government didn’t fix the economy over the last two years its been tried.
The establishment is screwed. And we’re supposed to be applaud when this guy calls for socialism? Get real - this was a Max Headroom show tonight!
