They found the severed head of an Arab who is suspected of being the homicide bomber.

Are the Chechens Arabs?

No, but some are Muslims.

I’m just stating what the Russian press has come out with. They are not very politically correct.

They call an Arab an Arab.

These days, pretty much. They didn’t become so radicalized till wahhabi clerics funded by countries like Saudia Arabia arrived to preach in the mosques.

The Chechen separatist movement was helped by an Arab Mujahideen group with its leader Al-Khattab, a national of Jordan. Al-Khattab was active in Chechnya from 1993.

Wahabis are financing terrorists across the globe, in Afghanistan, Pakistan/Kashmir, Bosnia, Kosovo, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Chechnya.

The Chechens, like the majority in Kashmir, are Muslims, and have enjoyed the support of Turkey and countries in the Middle East (Saudia Arabia, UAE) and Pakistan. Saudi Arabia is the major source of funds for the Chechens. Saudis call their struggle a war of liberation.

Many of those involved in the Russian Beslan school massacre were Arabs.
