The more time we spend spreading the gospel of Christ, the less time we have to believe these crazy stories of healings.

Exactly. Unfortunately, your statements will not set well with the FR charismatics. They are focused on the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. A wise theologian once posed this statement and question to me: "Your focus must always be Christ-centered. If you are focused on the Holy Spirit, then what is the source of that focus?". Pneumatology is shaky theology.

The source of the focus is you, because you are the one focusing. The object of one focusing on the Holy Spirit is of course Jesus, or the Father, because they're all the same person.

Christ is in Heaven seated at the right hand of Father. The Holy Spirit is here on earth. Which one would it be, then, doing God’s work on earth?

So to even mention a miracle of Christ will always cause one to become consumed with the miricle itself and loose sight of the Healer himself?

Wow! thanks for warning me. I wonder how the apostles or those who witnessed miracles in nt times avoided that?

Jesus should have thought twice before commissioning the apostles to “do” miracles. An unwitting person might notice them thus ruining their chance at salvation.
too bad really...

Again, thanks for the warning!
