Cantor's a mole and an agent for Israel. His allegiance is first and formost to Israel, so any statement, or policy stance must be viewed in that light.

Do I think he's selling the USA out? No, I have no direct evidence of treason, or duplicity. I just think he acts to support what Israel desires. Until recently US and Israeli foreign policy were one. Today, that assumption is clouded by politics.

I wonder if Jerusalem and official DC have grown tired of wrangling and have made piece? Why else would Cantor make a statement of support for Hussein?
