MSNBC and Comedy Central had a field day with it. Hannity did apologize on his show for it(as a mistake) the day after it became a story.

If you remember in Fall 2009 there were two tea party rallies : a big one in September and a much smaller one on October, When covering the smaller one (October) Hannity used coverage of the later much bigger one (September) saying something like “What a huge crowd” and liberals immediately picked up on the fact that the leaves in the video were all still very green and that it was the same clip he used in September on his show.

Have a hard time criticising Hannity - or anyone, for that matter, who brings a Conservative message to the public. For many; it is the only Conservative voice they hear; or it is their 'first one'. Hannity has an audience; and that is good. We need as many voices as possible reaching as many as possible.

If the shoe fits; then let the message resonate per the 'ears that hear'.
