PEGGY NOONAN: Why Obama's State of the Union Speech Will Be Unusually Good (Barf Alert!!!)
FOX News.com ^ | January 22, 2011 | Peggy Noonan

Posted on 01/22/2011 3:38:47 PM PST by Kaslin

The State of the Union Address is usually among the most important and least memorable of presidential speeches. The speech itself, in an august setting, is an opportunity for a president to break through in a new way. TV and radio carry it live, and it's hard for the average citizen to avoid seeing at least a piece of it. It's a real chance for a White House to tell the American people "This is where we stand, this is why we are here, this is what we believe in."

But most State of the Unions don't measure up. They get beaten down by the staffing process and flattened by the laundry-list aspects: "We'll do this and this and this." There's always too much going on in the speech, and in the end it's usually, in Churchill's phrase, a pudding without a theme.

Peggy has picked up Obama's new speaking style. Like it or not, and content aside, he did himself a world of good with his campaign speech at the Tuscon victims' funeral.

Underestimate this illegitimate, ineligible ass-klown at our peril. The puppet masters have given their teleprompter-wallah a slick new line of touchy-feely, calm, and deeper-voiced psycho-patter. They have even improved his teleprompter reading technique.

RINO ladies like Noonan are often like stopped clocks. Right twice a day.

"Obama speaks well, unless you listen to the words." Rush Limbaugh

Peggy, why don’t you go ahead and give him your private number and set up a date. You are already drooling.

Because Moochelle would rip her sleeves off, flex her guns, and take Noonan apart like a tinkertoy for screwing with her boogie meal ticket.

I see Peggy is planning on viewing the speech from under Obamas podium.

Ah, the Lewinsky seating. I've heard those are extremely hard to get.

So the speech is being leaked. He wants more spending on schools and infrastructure. Also says he wants to be more “pro business”. Don’t know how much more of his attention businesses can stand. Lastly, he wants to “work” with Reps on our financial issues.

Yeah, but the spending will be big issue with the Republicans and they will not see it favorable

It doesn’t matter what the liar Obama says. Nobody believes him anyway. If the economy doesn’t improve between now and Nov 2012 he will lose re-election. If it does, he will most likely win. PERIOD.

I won’t be watching, and I doubt too many other people do either except for his clueless fanbase.

Noonan should spend her time gardening or knitting. She is worthless as a commentator, sought to destroy Sarah Palin, and has a girly crush on Obama. Any pro life award she was given in the past should be removed from her aging fingers as she worships a man who loves abortion. She goes orgasmic every time Nobama speaks.
