A poorly titled local piece from last week.....

http://kokomotribune.com/local/x1184739450/Tea-Party-has-target-on-Lugar

The Tea Party people were less than thrilled about the Dan Coats nomination,” he said. “They realize it would be a better position to narrow the field and have a one-on-one race against Lugar.”

Fettig said if the Tea Party groups can’t agree on a single candidate in 2012, then it will not be possible to defeat Lugar in 2012.

He's right. That's how Coats got sent back to D.C. - too many conservatives running against each other in the primaries drawing the votes from each other and splitting the votes. Coats basically won by default.

Had all of the others dropped out so that it was one Tea Party candidate against Coats......we would now have a Tea Party candidate in the Senate.

We cannot afford to repeat this mistake against Lugar. We MUST UNITE with ONE candidate against him! Or Lugar will win the primary as Coats did. This is a warning I can't repeat loud enough!!!
