The suspect who threatened Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies Friday night with an AK47 assault rifle

Cartel member, perhaps?

From another source: Arpaio said Castellanos served 90 days in jail for a human-smuggling charge in 1986. He legally returned to the United States under a worker's Visa in 1997, but apparently overstayed that Visa. Castellanos was stopped for a traffic violation April 3, and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Additional details were not immediately available.

To sum up, he was convicted of human smuggling but STILL GIVEN A WORK VISA nine years later, which he overstayed; he was stopped and turned over to ICE but was STILL IN THE COUNTRY. We are just lucky no one was hurt before this puke was killed. And NO THANKS to the feds.

Sheriff Joe and his crew should be running DHS. Things would be very different.
