It's some of the independents and moderates who are up for grabs. Do a keyword search on 20xxexitpoll where xx equals 06, 08 and 10. I posted those articles.

Independent voters can be a majority of voters, e.g. Massachusetts. Usually, they vary between 20+ percent and 40+ percent, depending on the state.
