My friend I have been here since 1998, I will be here in 2100 too.(after all I am now only 86) I do agree with the malcotnet on one item though. FREE REPUBLIC is to important to fade away. That is why I give my donation every quarter. I have not missed in years. It does bother me somewhat however, that as important as this site is, there are some that do not support it with their pocket-books. That is a shame. As I said above, I am 86 years old, have the shakes, (cannot even write, have to use the computer) on Social Security and still support this wonderful site.
