Always wondered about that kid/actor.....What ever become of him?
Loved the movie. Probably he is basking in the Tennessee Valley Authority and going down to Nana’s house for cookies.

I read shortly after the movie came out that the kid could not play the banjo at all. Someone behind him, sticking their arms through and playing for him, which in itself would have been difficult. Sort of photoshop of its day.
