Well friend, I’ve found it’s usually the child most upset by humor.
I’ve had a chance to reflect on your impolite admonishment, and have since learned that it seems to be your modus operandi to post that nasty diatribe in a private message anytime you don’t like what someone has written. First off, if you have something like that to say, put in the forum, don’t send me private notes. Aside from your demonstrable arrogance, where is it exactly, that you derive the notion that you have the right to tell people what they can or cannot post on a free-association forum, and what paradigm exactly do you supposed Free Republic operates by, wherein a comment such as mine is not appropriate?
Looking at some of your illuminating posts, I have to say, I was sure impressed. I particularly was blown away by the cerebral nature of your discussion about lady’s breast cup sizes, or your taking room in forums to posts things such as “Your point is?” or “I’m for giving California back to Mexico,” or simply “Yawn.” These posts are sarcastic, or ineffective attempts at humor, and by your own implied standard, don’t merit inclusion in the forum. Of course that brings up the delightfully rich post by you asking another Freeper “what kind of litmus test can you supply to determine my political classification?” Speaking of litmus tests, what kind of litmus test can you supply to determine which posts are ‘appropriate’ and which are not, and please be sure it’s permissive enough to include all your sarcastic comments and inane musings, but stringent enough to exclude everyone else’s, and also be sure to craft something that allows for your endless (and tiresome) admonishments to other people about their intellectual inferiority , and the uselessness of their posts, etc., but doesn’t allow for similar posts by others.
Your self-righteous admonishments are the biggest waste of space on FR. If you are incapable of skipping over comments that you don’t find interesting or worthwhile, then it’s your problem, and perhaps you have an attention deficit problem to match your obvious anger management ones. Either get a job as a moderator or keep your mouth shut – you don’t have any special privileges here and no basis on which to criticize others. If you want to be a miserable scrooge then leave the forum and take your attitude, your arrogance and your misery; you can go sit on your own sidewalk and curse at your ammunition.
